The Company
My client is a market leading company dedicated to the development, design, supply and installation of innovative products to engineering companies around the world.
The Role
You will be required to design and detail bespoke equipment for use in a steel plant environment based on known fundamental principles. There will also be a requirement to adapt and apply design skills to other mechanically biased equipment and projects for any industry. The successful applicant will be heavily involved in the design process from initial concept through to installation This role will initially be on a trial basis where you will be employed by the Austin Banks on a temporary contract for approximately 3 months
Hours & Days:
40 hrs per work, Normal office hours Mon – Fri.
About You:
Ideally you will have a minimum qualification of HNC in Mechanical & Production Engineering as well as having a good working knowledge of the principles of power transmission. You must be capable of performing and understanding mechanical structural calculations. You must have an excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor Version 2008.
