A technically minded Candidate, preferably with a mechanical back ground is required by this busy and successful Engineering firm to join their Sales team as an internal sales & marketing person. The main duties of this role will be to prepare quotations for the machines and tooling, based on data supplied by Sales Manager, Purchasing, Technical or Director. Eventually the Candidate will be expected to progress on to creating standard quotations to send as budget proposals. Other duties will include being the first contact for incoming sales calls, managing sales quotation file system, the data entry of “leads” onto ACT, including historical data and to research potential sales opportunity by internet, journals, exhibitions etc. The successful Candidate will also be responsible for managing sales literature, supporting and suggest marketing initiatives where requested and prepare sales meeting / customer visits on site at Unison. Some cold telephone calling to discover potential sales opportunities, company contacts, intelligence and information likely to lead to sale opportunity will also be required.
